I love New Jersey despite high taxes, outrageous insurance rates, an unbalanced budget, corrupt politicians, crime, pollution, DMVs, Inspection stations, High Tolls, expensive cigarettes, state tax on mostly everything, and schools that don't measure up.
I love NJ for the following reasons:
Arts-Culture
Happenings
Fine Dining
Casinos
Beautiful Waterways
Jersey Shores
Boardwalks
Wineries
Drive In Theatres
Arts Theatres
Comedy Clubs
Famous Actors, Singer, Professional Sports Stars
Famous Writers, Poets, Educators, Scientists Athletes
Music Rock Bands
Arts Districts
Motorsports
Down Jersey Tours
EcoTourism
Hotels-Restaurants-Attractions
Cheesesteaks, cheeseburgers, softserve
Art Shows and much more.
I love the local colleges and universities and most of all I love the people.
I own and operate a local marketing company that specializes in Social Media Marketing. The best part about it, is that I make a living hanging out in communities like Vox where I get to socialize all day and I get paid for it. Can't beat that for a job. Seriously, there is a lot of potential in social media marketing, in fact, everyone is getting into it. My local paper had a post in it the other day for a part-time community blogger where you get paid per post. $50 for 10 good relevant posts. Not bad!! Naturally I applied for the job to supplement my online income. My goal is to one day build a website that will serve as my ATM machine. I just check in everyday for about an hour and then withdraw some cash from and Pay Pal account and live life. Visit the Casino, go golfing, see a comedy show, go Karting, etc. I will have a routine where I work a little, play a lot, shop, dine out all day at different cultural restaurants and explore new people, places and things. Sounds like an AA meeting.
Anyway, have you ever heard the story of Mark Zuckerberg. He did just that. Never even finished college. In fact, he was a computer HACKER, a drop out, without a house, a job, etc. In three years, yes, 36 months he turned that all around into one of the most successfull ATMs on the Planet. His ATM Balance just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
In case you weren't aware, he is a 23 year old (Now 24) Billionaire. You know a 1 followed by a lot of zeros. One hundred million dollars. His story is Remarkable. I have to admit being in computers and all, I really did not know who he was until last year. I was a MYSPACE person. Now I'm a FACEBOOK person.
So you say what is social marketing. It is just that being social on the internet and marketing your brand or business. It is extremely profitable because valued customers can chitchat with you about your products and offer suggestions. You as the entrepreneur are not left out in the dark. There is no need to pay for expensive studies or surveys to find the pulse of your customers and what they like and don't like about your products. What they don't like they tell you. And you inform them of the attributes of a product that they may have not been aware of. The important thing about it is Your Brand is Yourself. You are a person to them offering something they need or want or providing them with a valuable service. If you are likable then RES IPSA LOQUITOR "The thing speaks for itself". It is a legal term back in my law days. I probably misspelled it, oh, I forgot I can now run spell check. The best invention since sliced bread. This group will get better and better. If you looking for an inexpensive way to market your niche product then social medial marketing is key.
Every two weeks or one week, I will review a new social community and then open it up for your comments, likes and dislikes. I will do my best to offer my expertise, that is marketing, to highlight the benefits of each social group. There are a lot out there and did you know there are different types to. I just learned this the other day from Wikipedia, which is an awesome way to promote your brand by the way, but I'll tell you about that later. There are Blogs, Forums, MicroBlogs, Social Networks, Events, Wikis, Social Bookmarking, Social News Sites, Opinion Sites, Photosharing, video sharing, audio and music sharing, virtual worlds, and more. Every week we as a community will delve into the wonderful world of the internet and explore "new life and civilizations" we will "boldly go where no one has gone before". I really look forward in communicating with you. I welcome your comments and even your constructive criticism.
